Marquis Villas Resort

I'm going to Myrtle Beach for spring break, what is there to do?

I've got my vacation villa booked, it's on the beach and now I'm looking for things to do. I've got eight other people coming, most of us are over 21. I'm looking for suggestions on restaurants, sight seeing, the best bars/ clubs. Basically anything that's fun and interesting to do... I'd love to check it out!

  4. oh, myrtle beach is full of fun things...they have this alligator farm, with every kind of alligator and crocodile there is...even an albino one...and this lion and tiger place, too...if you like animals... when i went there i was too young for bars, so no help there, but i would ask the villa for info on their tourist places....
  5. lay on the beach and chill
  6. Let's see. Spring Break......college students.....booze.....parties.... Hey, there are some great churches you guys should check out. You could choose one or two a day in between rounds of golf and playing pinochle.
  7. Yes, by reading what others have to say about it is good. But sometimes you won't know what place is best, if you don't explore it.
  8. Make love,not war.Live and let live,.
  9. Well I haven't been there in 2 years, but thats where we always went for SB too...Heres what I think: There's tons of little Outdoor malls, shopping, entertainment, dining etc..Go to Broadway at the beach (the biggest and best) or Barefoot landing. Totally easy to spend a whole day there. Its the land of Putt-Putt golf, have fun! For drinking: All the older bars downtown are still the best. Freaky-Tiki for dancing, they used to have a foam party. The pavilion is cool too, one of those old fashioned amusement parks where you can get in free and only buy tickets for a ride or two. The beach and boardwalk are fun too, especially during the day. North Myrtle beach is for old retiree's, don't bother. Depending on when you're going, you do know it won't be very warm and the ocean will be too cold still. We went in Mid-March and it was about 55-60 the whole week.
