Are there any resorts comparable to but better than Sandals?
I've read terrible reviews of Sandals but love the idea of having a carefree wedding, not having to worry about tips, etc. Are there any resorts that offer similar packages in the caribbean?

- I can't help you much with resorts in the Caribbean, but take in consideration Palace Resorts in Cancun / Playa Del Carmen Mexico. Depends when you are going they are also opening a new resort in Punta Cana - Dominican Republic. They are all inclusive resorts with exceptional service. Palace Resorts offer also FREE weddings and they are well organised. I did a symbolic wedding last April and it was wonderful. I recommend Moon Palace Resort or Aventua Spa Palace Resort in Cancun / Playa Del Carmen Mexico. If you are going next year, consider as well Moon Palace Casino Spa Resort in Punta Cana as I said.
- I am not familiar with any of the Sandals resorts but I do know they are terribly expensive. If you want a beautiful island to go to I suggest Barbados and if you want a beautful resort to go to that you dont have to worry about any problems with your wedding I suggest Barbados Beach Club. Barbados is a beautiful island. Lots of lovely scenery and so much to do, morning noon and night. http://funbarbados.com/ http://www.barbados.org/ As it relates to accommodation, there is a lovely resort in Barbados called The Barbados Beach Club. This is along the South Coast and has a lovely beach view. http://barbadosbeachclub.com/ The Barbados Beach Club is an all inclusive resort which offers breakfast, lunch, after noon tea, dinner, unlimited drinks, an exercise room (gym), pool aerobics, snorkeling, scuba diving lessons, windsurfing, Hobie cat cruises, beach volley ball, games room and soooo much more. The activities that are included in this all-inclusive package are astounding. http://barbadosbeachclub.com/recreation.cfm The Barbados beach club has 3 restaurants on site and one of them is buffet the other two are a la carte. The two a la carte are seafood and the other is Italian. http://barbadosbeachclub.com/facilities_dining.cfm This is a wonderful resort in a wonderful island; you should come and explore it for yourself my friend. As I told you before this resort offers a wedding package, and they also offer a honeymoon package as well, to see what the package includes see the link below...it also has the price of the package: http://barbadosbeachclub.com/romance.cfm They also have a special going up to December 15th, 2009…you get 45% discount off the rate(for room bookings): http://barbadosbeachclub.com/special-details.cfm?specialID=13086 For more information contact them below: http://barbadosbeachclub.com/contact.cfm Have a look at the links that I gave you. Hope I helped! =]
