Where can you find promotional timeshare vacation offers?

I am looking for contact information for timeshare companies that will allow you to stay in their timeshare resorts for free in lieu of viewing a presentation. Any type of information would be helpful. Thank you.

1. Although there may be some resorts offering these types of deals, more and more are simply offering discounts because of the economy. This is especially true for the more popular resorts. If you want to check out a certain resort in the certain area, you might want to check out a timeshare-related website, like rci.com and search for resorts that you'd like to visit. Call them and ask for the sales department and inquire about current promotions they are running. Beware that their presentations are designed to get a purchase from even the most buyer-allergic people.
2. If you aren't too far from Missouri, Summer Bay Resorts is offering a 3 day/2 night stay in Ste. Genevieve, MO for $35 total for up to 4 people. If you like wine, there are quite a few wineries in the area. They include a $40 gift certificate to Crown Ridge Restaurant (excellent! and a tiger viewing before/after dinner) and also 2 free wine tastings at Crown Valley Winery, a tour of the facility and lunch for 2. It was very much worth it in our opinion. My husband and I live about 2 hours from Ste. Gen, so it was nice for a weekend getaway. The 90 min. presentation was a piece of cake in my opinion. As long are you don't act interested or ask questions, you'll do fine. We got "excused" right on the 90 min. dot. Good luck!
3. Well there is a website that offers something similar - a lot of the properties they offer ARE timeshare properties, but you don't HAVE to attend the timeshare. You can volunteer to do one, & get perks like free tickets or extra nights for free or whatever - but you don't have to. Almost every package on this site has that opportunity but again, you are not REQUIRED to attend them if you choose not to.
