How to avoid getting sick at my timeshare?
For the second year in a row I got sick on the third (of seven) days at a timeshare in the White Mountains, NH. What can I do to prevent getting sick? What do you do to keep from getting sick when travelling? I think next year I will avoid drinking the water. I will bring my own pillows to use and will bring cleaning spray and some bleach to make sure the place is really clean. I can't stand getting sick on vacation. Please post your ideas to help us vacationers be healthy. Thank you.

- If the air is dryer, use a humidifier. It keeps your nose and throat moist so they are less irritated. Continue to eat healthy food and drink plenty of water. Get rest. If you stay up too late and get up too early...trying to fit too much into vacation, you will be run down. Take Umcka with you. I bought it at the health food store...it's just an extra boost to fend off illness, or shorten it when you are feeling a cold coming on.
- For the past three years my husband and I have been taking echinacea, two pills a day, and neither one of us has had a cold or the flu, even when flying. It can't hurt you and it just may help.
- Stop taking the timeshare presentation/update at your arrival.
