I would like to go to Punta Cana D.R. Does anyone have advice on what all inclusive resorts are best?

My husband and I are going on a long overdue honeymoon. We are planning on going to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. There are so many resorts to chose from and we are having a hard time choosing. We definitely want a all inclusive resort and something a little quieter and romantic. PLEASE HELP!

1. I suggest you check TripAdvisor.com. They have lists of hotels and resorts, along with comments from past guests, which can help you decide.
2. My favorit is Excellence Punta Cana. Adults only. Several restaurants. Top quality menus. Never need reservations. Entertainment top quality. Upgrade to the Club section is well worth the money. My wife and I did an anniversary celebration here in the Club section. I let them know in advance and we had a very pleasant surprise waiting for us in the room on arrival. A large heart made of red rose petals on the bed, and a bottle of real Champagne on ice waiting for us. This is a place for romance.

4. I was in Punta Cana 11/7-11/14 and stayed Melia Caribe Tropical. All inclusive, few kids, an overall great resort for the money. Saw the Barcelo Bavaro complex from the ocean during a sunset cruise. Barcelo is also an all inclusive, has been recently renovated and looked very nice. tripadvisor.com has lots of information but I would be wary of some of the comments. Remember these are peoples opinions, there are some people that no matter what is done for them still aren't happy and will find something to complain about. Hope you have a great time.
