- Bay lake towers nice view of MK. Think they have a special viewing area for guest who stay there for the MK fireworks. Have not seen the Beach club villas but it is a short walk or boat ride to Epcot and The Studios also can walk to Disneys Boardwalk. If I could stay in one I would def go with BLT http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVCnfazVx_4
- One big difference is location. If there is a park you plan to spend the most time in, stay near there. I have stayed at Bay Lake and it is fantastic. For 6 people, you would need a 2-bdrm. Bay Lake has 3 baths and Boardwalk has 2. At Bay Lake you can request a dedicated 2-bdrm. The second bedroom would have 2 queens instead of 1 queen and a pull out. It does have a fireworks viewing lounge, but it is only available to those staying on DVC points. You can get more information on each place, including room layouts and 360 degree views at the DVC website. http://dvc.disney.go.com/dvc/guest/resorts/resortOverview?id=ProspectsResortsOverviewPage
- I would suggest for these age ranges the Beach Club Villas. They are connected to the Boardwalk for night time entertainment suitable for the entire party since it's so diverse. Plus, you get boat OR walking access to EPCOT and Disney Studios (quickly, not much of a wait). You will have a great view of the EPCOT fireworks as well. Bay lake towers are probably more expensive and have a view of the MK fireworks (as well as the piped in music) but may not offer much entertainment for your younger crowd.
