  1. You may want to consider contacting a timeshare reseller to see if they can get you a deal on renting a timeshare unit for the week you are planning on heading down there. Being a former timeshare owner, there were so many times I "banked" my weeks because I couldn't get the time off to travel. Sure its great I could bank my weeks, but I still had to pay my taxes and yearly fees. When I finally decided to sell my timeshare, I enlisted the help of www.buyatimeshare.com to advertise my unit. When I signed up, one of the things they asked me was "would I be interested in renting out my week as well". I was more than happy to rent my week if they could get someone to just cover my yearly fees. My unit was in Orlando and I did get a call from my advertising rep a few months later letting me know there was a potential party interested in renting out my unit. They handled the process and it went rather smoothly and saved me a few hundred dollars. Exploring this option is certainly worth logging on to their site and seeing what resorts in that area they have available, It could save you and your friends a boat load of money.
  2. Hola Bear. No problemo. Hope I can help you! You have mentioned lots of options, and most meet your 5 criteria. Cabo isn't a huge town and all the places you mentioned are right in the town of CSL and very easy access to everything (marina, party beach, nightclubs, shopping etc) You will not need to rent a car for any of them. My top pick would be any of the Pueblos or the Villas or Hacienda del Mar. They all exceed all your criteria. Sol Mar and Playa Grande are okay but I find an older crowd go there and you are 20's. They aren't bad though. Lovely views on the hillside and nice private pool areas. Portofino is also on the hillside but its a smaller villa-like resort and more like staying in someones house or condo, not fancy resort. No to Tesoro - it is like a 2 star compared to the rest, even though its very close to the nightclubs (stumbling distance). The Hotel Bahia is extremely close to the action, very busy fun medano beach and walking distance to town. I think its a good choice for 20's, but not as nice as the Pueblos or Villas. Marina Fiesta I have heard mixed reviews over the years and pool area isn't as nice. Some say too close to marina and very noisy busy, but maybe thats okay for you. Cabo is an awesome place and you will probably spend most of your time out and about and not really caring where you stay!! Have a great time!
  3. I just got back from a vacation in Cabo two weeks ago. I stayed at Pueblo Bonito Rose through my timeshare. It was absolutely beautiful. The staff was wonderful. I had no complaints. I toured Pueblo Bonito at Sunset and it's also very beautiful and newer than Rose. When I go back, They will be my first two choices. :)
  4. We have a time share a Hacienda de Mar. 5 Star Resort. We go there every year. Check it out you will be impressed
