Marquis Villas Resort - How far is the Puerto Plata airport from the resorts?

How far is the Puerto Plata airport from the resorts?

It says were flying into Puerto Plata (POP is the airport code) and I was wondering how long it takes to get to the resorts in PP, specifically Allegro Playa Dorada. Also, do you know if that resort offers shuttle service to and from the airport? I'm not seeing anything on their site about it. THX!

ohh thats a great resort..been there! its about 10 mins away.. not far at all tho they will have to drop ppl off at other resorts which can make it seem a lil longer.. but its nothing at all.. have a great time... depends on where u booked ur trip.. all inclusives cover transfers to and from resorts. otherwise i think u have to get a cab,
From the resort located in the tremendous Playa Dorada complex, it take´s about 15 min by public bus to go to the center ( Parque Central) of Puerto Plata (bus B) and for 15 RDS per person. If you like to picked-up at the airport (if it not included in your travel arrangement) just contact cincocho58@yahoo.com, they will info about this service and also about all cheaper tours and more... Have a nice time !
It is closely located, and if you take a taxi you will get there in no time. they drive really fast !!!
