Marquis Villas Resort

How much is it per night average for the Disney World Resorts?

The next time I go to DW I would like very much to stay on property - I was looking at their resorts and they look amazing! They're sooo nice...but are they that pricey?

  1. Depends - there are different levels of hotels. You can stay very cheaply at the All Stars or Pop Century, less than $100 at some times of the year. And then there are the super-deluxe hotels, where you could spend hundreds of dollars a night. Personally, I think Disney's website is hard to navigate for this info, so I use http://www.allearsnet.com If you go to their "accomodations" section, they have pictures and info on all the hotels, plus current prices. It's a really good site.
  2. yes they are pricey. if you go with the value resorts its not too expensive. all stars: music, movies, sports. and the pop century restort . they start at $82 per night. but during peek season like christmas it will cost $130 per night. and it goes up from there. moderate hotels like the caribbean beach starts at $150 deluxe hotels like the contemporary start at $225 per night
  3. It really does depend on where you stay, they have resorts for every budget. It goes from $80 per night to over $800 per night. Your best bet is to call 407-W-Disney. Give them your budget, and they'll give you the rates, packages, etc.
  4. Prices can change dramatically depending on the time of year, day of the week, and quality of the hotel or resort that you wish to stay in. I've included the website for Disney Resorts so if you input your information it can give you actual pricing per night; but the general rule is you expect to pay a sizable amount more to stay on Disney Property but it does have its advantages. And in all this information is on the web site I have provided Good luck and best wishes Ian http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw/resorts/resortOverview?id=ResortOverviewPage
  5. Last July we stayed at the All-Star Sports Resort for around $85 a night. The rooms were a little small, but we didn't spend much time in them. Also, it is so worth it to be on site and take the buses everywhere.
  6. I think ours for All Star Movies this Sept. is 89.00 per night!
  7. the value resorts (the All-Stars) start at $82 a night the moderate resorts start at $149 The deluxe resorts start at @225 a night I've stayed at all the levels & they are all great. :o)
  8. Disney has a resort to fit any budget. Trust me, if you visit Disney and stay on property you will never ever stay off property again. The price is right, but not only that you get some outstanding perks staying on property, making staying on property well worth the price. There are four different levels of Disney resort, value, moderate, deluxe, and vacation club. The value resorts are just what they say, value. Don't get me wrong they are great places to stay. Each has a very large pool, great decor and themes, good food courts and plenty of amenities. Plus you get to take advantage of all the perks that Disney resorts offer. The drawbacks of the value resorts are the rooms are on the smaller side, there is only a food court and no sit down table service restaurant, and they are geared more towards the families with smaller kids so they have a tendancy to be a bit on the louder side. My favorite in this category is the All-Star Movies, with Pop Century a close second. The moderate resorts are a step up in price and amenities from the values. The moderate resorts have a sit down table service restaurant and a food court. There are multiple pools and a main themed pool. The rooms are bigger, and there are a few more things to do than the values. In this level my favorite is the Caribbean Beach resort. I love the restaurant at the resort and the pool. A close second is Port Orleans Riverside. The deluxe resorts and vacation club resorts are the cream of the crop. They have the most amenities of all the resorts, there are multiple restaurants including some character meals. These are the most expensive, but they are that way for a reason. My favorite of the deluxe is the Polynesian, my favorite Vacation club resort is the Saratoga Springs resort. I would suggest you check out the disboards. The disboards is a message boards website all about going to Disney. You can get resort reviews, restaurant reviews, trip reports, and much more. There is more information than you can possibly need, I learn something new each time I am on the site. I hope this helps, have a great time!
