What can I do to get rid of a Timeshare Property?

I have a TImeshare Property in N.C., I have tried to sell it and rent it, with no luck, but still have to pay the monthly maintainance fees, if I dont pay them, it will be a liability on my credit.

1. Have you tried giving it to someone? You could also hold raffle or drawing with your timeshare as the "Prize". ;-)
2. The best places to sell a timeshare are through timesharing today www.tstoday.com or through ebay. You can also donate it to a charity. One such site for donation is giftsforsight.org There are lots of con stories about people paying big fees to sell and having nothing happen. Some timeshare properties will rent it for you.
