What is a good temperature for snow in ski resorts?
Specifically resorts in Austria if that makes any difference. The latest report said -4, -6. Is this okay, or does it need to be colder. Thanks. I'm talking about temperatures that keep the snow there. So it's cold enough so that the snow doesn't melt.

- That's coooold!! It only needs to be 33 degrees for snow!!
- That's too cold for snow you ll be skiing on ice, that's hard when i come off i like to hit something soft and wet
- This is perfect for snow. Since it is Austria, the temperatures are reported in CELSIUS not Fahrenheit. Please disregard the other answers people have given since they were unaware of the unit of measure. -4 celsius if roughly 25 fahrenheit, good snow temps.
